Phew, here’s a dump of sketches done in the past (unit of time) that probably ain’t goin’ nowhere no more. There were more of them but I don’t have time/space to clean the rest up tonight, so perhaps there will be another dump in (unit of time)?

SO UH I don’t normally post design comps here but I’ve been working on this over the weekend. So IGNORING THE FACT that the header and background are for Fox’s Wedding and the page as a completely stupid uncleaned scan from Universal Errors (because… I needed to drop something in there that wasn’t a page from Toradora that my room mates kept thinking I drew I WISH I COULD DRAW LIKE A REAL MANGAKA), what do you guys think of this kind of layout for comic pages?

Am I missing anything big? I didn’t include a chapter drop down because as of right now neither of these chapters have comics, so I imagine you’d just go to the archive?? Also, I want to make the page responsive to mobile eventually so it displays well on there but I’ll worry about that after I see if I can remember code enough to make the desktop version happen, haha.

Oh yeah, and the max width of the content area is 960px, I don’t think most people have screen resolutions very much smaller than that anymore? Thoughts? OH AND I APPARENTLY DON’T HAVE HELVETICA so I couldn’t use it; the copy font face will probably be that once I actually get this in code. :|b

LOOK GUYS, IT’S ALMOST LIKE I CAN DRAW COMICS OR SOMETHING

So I’ve been flip-flopping between projects for the past few months, but flamerain wrote me the script for this comic MONTHS ago, so it’s really time I start! A few quick character sketches for Universal Errors!

The first guy, Seth, is one of the main two characters, and the other three, AJ, Heather, and Blair (whose clothes I still need to design lmao) are minor characters.
