I was going to add a complex background to this, but it’s late so I think I’ll end here for now. I do feel like I’m finally getting towards the point where I can color the way I want to, though.
This is the main character from the mermaid story! He… still doesn’t have a name. I can tell you all sorts of things about him; his favorite subjects are English and P.E., his blood type is A, his earrings are made from shells found off the coast of his village (the white pair was made by his mother, and the black one by a childhood friend), but I can’t tell you his name. Any suggestions?
Sometimes it’s fun to just doodle old characters!
Did I ever show you guys Dhaka? I don’t think I did. She’s my little deku scrub girl for the Hyrule Battle Tourney over on dA. I’m working on her round 1 entry right now but even with the extension I seriously doubt I’ll finish in time I’m definitely not going to finish in time. Life, why so busy!?
Reiko
So, I’m a bad character parent. I have tons of characters that belong to their own respective stories, but I always forget about then. In an effort to write them all down and keep them straight, I realized that I have over one hundred original characters. My project this month is to illustrate as many of them as I can and make my own original character catalogue!
So we’re starting with Reiko. I created her when I was twelve and she was a horrifically mary-sue-ish tomboy for the series Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I’m somehow still incredibly attached to her. She’s been redeveloped into a standalone, less mary-sue-ish character that I hope to give a story to soon. C:
